A Sweet Pitcher

Today's vintage memory comes from my own personal collection. I'm not sure where I picked this little pitcher up. In shades of soft green and white with just a touch of pale pink in the flowers it's a gorgeous piece. The only markings on it are on the very bottom and they don't tell much about it. Just a simple what looks to be a P inside a C and below that P-38. Does anyone have any idea what this could mean? It's a nice addition to the old cupboard in my family room!
