A Simple Cloth
Isn't this a sweet little cloth? It measures 22" by 25". I'm really not sure what it was meant for. Do you have any idea? It's just so delicate though and would look great draped over the door of an old cupboard or displayed in a childs room. Looking at it reminds me once again that we will always wonder about the person who made it and what they intended to use it for.

Could it be a throw-over? To throw over food on a table to protect it from dust or insects before people start to dine? We use them when we dine outside, to keep the flies from landing on food.
